# Remind vs OLAS

The clearest difference is rating: Remind at 4.8 against OLAS's 2.7. Remind also leads on ratings volume (1.8M vs 3) and chart position (#52 vs unranked). OLAS's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Remind holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remind has 1.8M ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Remind ships an update monthly, OLAS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
