# WineQuest vs Firstleaf

WineQuest and Firstleaf both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 98% of WineQuest's written reviews are positive against 44% of Firstleaf's. WineQuest also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). Firstleaf's advantage is ratings volume (691 vs 14). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WineQuest holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Firstleaf has 691 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 98% of WineQuest's written reviews are positive against 44% of Firstleaf's.

WineQuest ships an update every 3 weeks, Firstleaf fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
