# Call About vs Privacy Bee

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Call About at none against Privacy Bee's 10. Call About also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%). Privacy Bee's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Privacy Bee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $99.99 per year. Call About asks for nothing beyond the download.

Privacy Bee holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Privacy Bee has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Call About's written reviews are positive against 73% of Privacy Bee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Call About ships an update every 2 months, Privacy Bee every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
