# Nearpod vs SIAPI

The clearest difference is rating: SIAPI at 5.0 against Nearpod's 3.1. SIAPI also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Nearpod's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nearpod sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $159.99 per year. SIAPI asks for nothing beyond the download.

SIAPI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nearpod has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nearpod ships an update monthly, SIAPI every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
