# Nearpod vs P.E. Squad+

The clearest difference is rating: P.E. Squad+ at 5.0 against Nearpod's 3.1. Nearpod's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nearpod sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $159.99 per year and P.E. Squad+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

P.E. Squad+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nearpod has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
