# YubiSTAR vs LumiTube

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: YubiSTAR at none against LumiTube's 4. LumiTube's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LumiTube sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. YubiSTAR asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for YubiSTAR against 5.0 for LumiTube. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LumiTube has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
