# Skywatch View vs D

The clearest difference is rating: Skywatch View at 3.0 against D's 1.0. Skywatch View also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). D's advantage is review sentiment (15% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Skywatch View holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Skywatch View's written reviews are positive against 15% of D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skywatch View ships an update monthly, D every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
