# TimeKeeper vs Rewind

The clearest difference is rating: Rewind at 4.6 against TimeKeeper's 4.1. Rewind also leads on ratings volume (246 vs 39). TimeKeeper's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeKeeper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Rewind sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rewind holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rewind has 246 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of TimeKeeper's written reviews are positive against 49% of Rewind's.

TimeKeeper ships an update every 11 days, Rewind every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
