# Custom Holiday Calendar vs Current Week

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Current Week at 100% against Custom Holiday Calendar's 57%. Current Week also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). Custom Holiday Calendar's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Current Week sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Custom Holiday Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Custom Holiday Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Custom Holiday Calendar has 2.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Custom Holiday Calendar's written reviews are positive against 100% of Current Week's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Custom Holiday Calendar ships an update every 7 months, Current Week every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
