# ClassLink LaunchPad vs Katy ISD

The clearest difference is rating: ClassLink LaunchPad at 4.2 against Katy ISD's 2.7. ClassLink LaunchPad also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (7.4K vs 90). Katy ISD's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ClassLink LaunchPad holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClassLink LaunchPad has 7.4K ratings behind it against 90, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of ClassLink LaunchPad's written reviews are positive against 52% of Katy ISD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
