# ARK vs Norwegian Bible

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Norwegian Bible at none against ARK's 10. Norwegian Bible also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). ARK's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARK sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Norwegian Bible asks for nothing beyond the download.

ARK ships an update every 2 weeks, Norwegian Bible every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
