# ARK vs Nextory

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nextory at 54% against ARK's 0%. Nextory also leads on ratings volume (640 vs 7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). ARK's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARK sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Nextory sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $16.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ARK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextory has 640 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of ARK's written reviews are positive against 54% of Nextory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ARK ships an update every 2 weeks, Nextory weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
