# iComix vs Cocktail Hangouts

The clearest difference is rating: Cocktail Hangouts at 5.0 against iComix's 3.2. iComix's advantage is ratings volume (57 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iComix sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Cocktail Hangouts sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cocktail Hangouts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iComix has 57 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iComix ships an update every 10 days, Cocktail Hangouts every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
