# RTA Audio vs B

The clearest difference is rating: B at 5.0 against RTA Audio's 3.5. B also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 28 months). RTA Audio's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 43%) and ratings volume (32 vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RTA Audio sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. B asks for nothing beyond the download.

B holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RTA Audio has 32 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of RTA Audio's written reviews are positive against 43% of B's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RTA Audio ships an update every 28 months, B every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
