# Joss & Main vs BagReminder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Joss & Main at none against BagReminder's 1. Joss & Main also leads on ratings volume (65K vs 9) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). BagReminder's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 68%) and update cadence (daily vs weekly). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BagReminder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Joss & Main asks for nothing beyond the download.

Joss & Main holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Joss & Main has 65K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Joss & Main's written reviews are positive against 100% of BagReminder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Joss & Main ships an update weekly, BagReminder daily. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
