# Courier Journal vs KET

The clearest difference is rating: Courier Journal at 4.3 against KET's 3.3. Courier Journal also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). KET's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Courier Journal sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. KET asks for nothing beyond the download.

Courier Journal holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Courier Journal has 3.2K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Courier Journal's written reviews are positive against 33% of KET's.

Courier Journal ships an update every 3 weeks, KET every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
