# MetService vs MeteoSwiss

The clearest difference is rating: MeteoSwiss at 4.4 against MetService's 3.4. MeteoSwiss also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 20%) and ratings volume (141 vs 13). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MetService sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MeteoSwiss sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $46.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
