# ActiveAlert vs CommandIQ®

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ActiveAlert at 55% against CommandIQ®'s 23%. ActiveAlert also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly) and device support (4 vs 2). CommandIQ®'s advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CommandIQ® holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 740 and 2.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of ActiveAlert's written reviews are positive against 23% of CommandIQ®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ActiveAlert ships an update every 9 days, CommandIQ® monthly. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
