# BackWay vs NINU

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NINU at 100% against BackWay's 43%. NINU also leads on price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). BackWay's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

NINU is free to download; BackWay costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BackWay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of BackWay's written reviews are positive against 100% of NINU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BackWay ships an update every 2 months, NINU every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on July 30, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
