# Komodo™ vs 1

The clearest difference is rating: Komodo™ at 4.6 against 1's 4.2. Komodo™ also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (109 vs 5). 1's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 64%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Komodo™ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Komodo™ has 109 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Komodo™'s written reviews are positive against 73% of 1's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Komodo™ ships an update every 3 weeks, 1 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
