# Bluetooth U vs Find Bluetooth

The clearest difference is rating: Find Bluetooth at 4.2 against Bluetooth U's 2.7. Find Bluetooth also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (146 vs 17). Bluetooth U's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (47% vs 13%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluetooth U sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Find Bluetooth sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Find Bluetooth holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find Bluetooth has 146 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Bluetooth U's written reviews are positive against 13% of Find Bluetooth's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bluetooth U ships an update every 2 months, Find Bluetooth monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
