# Qfile Pro vs UniFi Design

The clearest difference is rating: UniFi Design at 5.0 against Qfile Pro's 4.2. UniFi Design also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Qfile Pro's advantage is ratings volume (495 vs 7) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UniFi Design holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Qfile Pro has 495 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Qfile Pro's written reviews are positive against 23% of UniFi Design's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Qfile Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, UniFi Design fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
