# Baseball America vs Baseball Rules

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Baseball Rules at 89% against Baseball America's 41%. Baseball Rules also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Baseball America's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 50). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball America sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Baseball Rules sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Baseball America holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball America has 1.4K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Baseball America's written reviews are positive against 89% of Baseball Rules's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Baseball America ships an update every 4 months, Baseball Rules every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
