# Baseball America vs Prospect Ping

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Prospect Ping at none against Baseball America's 13. Prospect Ping also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 41%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Baseball America's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 35) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball America sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Prospect Ping asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Baseball America against 4.7 for Prospect Ping. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball America has 1.4K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two.
