# Baseball America vs ProspectPulse

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ProspectPulse at 100% against Baseball America's 41%. ProspectPulse also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). Baseball America's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 6) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball America sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and ProspectPulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Baseball America holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball America has 1.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Baseball America's written reviews are positive against 100% of ProspectPulse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Baseball America ships an update every 3 months, ProspectPulse every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
