# Flow Free vs Word Search Pro‧

The clearest difference is update cadence: Word Search Pro‧ at every 9 days against Flow Free's every 5 months. Word Search Pro‧ also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Flow Free's advantage is ratings volume (408K vs 38K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow Free sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Word Search Pro‧ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Flow Free against 4.8 for Word Search Pro‧. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flow Free has 408K ratings behind it against 38K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Flow Free's written reviews are positive against 86% of Word Search Pro‧'s.

Flow Free ships an update every 5 months, Word Search Pro‧ every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
