# Mind Map Maker vs Lucidchart

Mind Map Maker and Lucidchart both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Mind Map Maker's written reviews are positive against 21% of Lucidchart's. Mind Map Maker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). Lucidchart's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 473). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mind Map Maker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $35.99 per 6 months and Lucidchart sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Mind Map Maker against 4.6 for Lucidchart. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lucidchart has 5.3K ratings behind it against 473, so its average is the more settled of the two.
