# AlphaSign Learn Sign Language vs EchoHands

The clearest difference is rating: AlphaSign Learn Sign Language at 4.1 against EchoHands's 2.6. EchoHands's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 33%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlphaSign Learn Sign Language sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EchoHands sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlphaSign Learn Sign Language holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of AlphaSign Learn Sign Language's written reviews are positive against 75% of EchoHands's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AlphaSign Learn Sign Language ships an update every 5 months, EchoHands daily. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
