# GeoFieldBook vs Rockd

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rockd at 74% against GeoFieldBook's 0%. Rockd also leads on ratings volume (187 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 14 months). GeoFieldBook's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (14.5 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GeoFieldBook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rockd has 187 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of GeoFieldBook's written reviews are positive against 74% of Rockd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
