# Skat Palace vs Binokel

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Binokel at none against Skat Palace's 20. Binokel also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Skat Palace's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (86% vs 59%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skat Palace sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Binokel asks for nothing beyond the download.

Binokel holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skat Palace has 79 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Skat Palace's written reviews are positive against 59% of Binokel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skat Palace ships an update every 3 weeks, Binokel every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
