# FDR Calculator vs Pocket RAWS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pocket RAWS at every 3 weeks against FDR Calculator's every 4 months. FDR Calculator's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FDR Calculator sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Pocket RAWS sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FDR Calculator ships an update every 4 months, Pocket RAWS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
