# Language Therapy Lite vs Communicado

The clearest difference is rating: Language Therapy Lite at 4.7 against Communicado's 4.0. Language Therapy Lite also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). Communicado's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Language Therapy Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Language Therapy Lite has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Language Therapy Lite's written reviews are positive against 100% of Communicado's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Language Therapy Lite ships an update every 4 months, Communicado every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
