# Paychex Flex vs ProLiant Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Paychex Flex at 4.8 against ProLiant Mobile's 2.4. Paychex Flex also leads on ratings volume (576K vs 449) and chart position (#39 vs unranked). ProLiant Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (24% vs 12%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Paychex Flex holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paychex Flex has 576K ratings behind it against 449, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Paychex Flex's written reviews are positive against 24% of ProLiant Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paychex Flex ships an update monthly, ProLiant Mobile every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
