# Medi1TV vs Hespress

The clearest difference is rating: Hespress at 4.4 against Medi1TV's 3.1. Hespress also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 10). Medi1TV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hespress holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hespress has 3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Medi1TV's written reviews are positive against 71% of Hespress's.

Medi1TV ships an update every 3 months, Hespress every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
