# TripREC Dash Cam vs ARCharaNavi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ARCharaNavi at 100% against TripREC Dash Cam's 53%. ARCharaNavi also leads on price ($1.99 vs $2.99) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). TripREC Dash Cam's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (53 vs 1). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

TripREC Dash Cam costs $2.99 and ARCharaNavi $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TripREC Dash Cam holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TripREC Dash Cam has 53 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of TripREC Dash Cam's written reviews are positive against 100% of ARCharaNavi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TripREC Dash Cam ships an update every 2 weeks, ARCharaNavi monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
