# CogniFit vs memoryOS

The clearest difference is rating: memoryOS at 4.9 against CogniFit's 4.5. memoryOS also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 1.7K) and chart position (#58 vs unranked). CogniFit's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CogniFit sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and memoryOS sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

memoryOS holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: memoryOS has 17K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of CogniFit's written reviews are positive against 80% of memoryOS's.

CogniFit ships an update weekly, memoryOS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
