# GPSPlus vs ShiftPay

The clearest difference is update cadence: GPSPlus at every 2 days against ShiftPay's fortnightly. GPSPlus also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). ShiftPay's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPSPlus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and ShiftPay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShiftPay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPSPlus has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GPSPlus ships an update every 2 days, ShiftPay fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
