# Shell Mania vs Blackjack

The clearest difference is rating: Blackjack at 5.0 against Shell Mania's 4.0. Blackjack also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 38 months). Shell Mania's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shell Mania sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Blackjack sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blackjack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shell Mania has 33 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Shell Mania ships an update every 38 months, Blackjack every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
