# Litres vs Читай

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Читай at 93% against Litres's 63%. Читай also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). Litres's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Litres sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month and Читай sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Читай holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Litres has 2.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Litres's written reviews are positive against 93% of Читай's.

Litres ships an update fortnightly, Читай every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
