# Litres vs Broadside Reader

The clearest difference is update cadence: Broadside Reader at every 3 days against Litres's fortnightly. Litres's advantage is chart position (#123 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Litres sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month and Broadside Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Litres ships an update fortnightly, Broadside Reader every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
