# Erase It Lite vs Odd Socks

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Erase It Lite at 100% against Odd Socks's 47%. Erase It Lite also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). Odd Socks's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 16 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Odd Socks sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Erase It Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Odd Socks holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Odd Socks has 151 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Erase It Lite's written reviews are positive against 47% of Odd Socks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Erase It Lite ships an update every 16 months, Odd Socks every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
