# Erase It Lite vs Tasty Planet

The clearest difference is price: Erase It Lite at Free against Tasty Planet's $4.99. Erase It Lite also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 88%). Tasty Planet's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 16 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Erase It Lite is free to download; Tasty Planet costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tasty Planet holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasty Planet has 36 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Erase It Lite's written reviews are positive against 88% of Tasty Planet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Erase It Lite ships an update every 16 months, Tasty Planet every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
