# Lyft vs Stop Hopper

Lyft's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (18M vs 70). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Lyft against 4.8 for Stop Hopper. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lyft has 18M ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two.
