# Class Manager vs Assignment Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Assignment Planner at 4.6 against Class Manager's 4.1. Assignment Planner also leads on device support (5 vs 2) and ratings volume (138 vs 42). Class Manager's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Manager sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Assignment Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignment Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 42 and 138 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Class Manager's written reviews are positive against 57% of Assignment Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Class Manager ships an update every 2 months, Assignment Planner every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
