# Class Manager vs Homework Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Homework Tracker at 4.8 against Class Manager's 4.1. Homework Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (224 vs 42). Class Manager's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Manager sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Homework Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework Tracker has 224 ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Class Manager's written reviews are positive against 70% of Homework Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Class Manager ships an update every 2 months, Homework Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
