# Felt Magazine vs MakerLog

The clearest difference is rating: Felt Magazine at 5.0 against MakerLog's 3.0. Felt Magazine also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). MakerLog's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Felt Magazine sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and MakerLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Felt Magazine holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Felt Magazine has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of Felt Magazine's written reviews are positive against 57% of MakerLog's.

Felt Magazine ships an update every 8 months, MakerLog monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
