# Off vs Remio

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Remio at 100% against Off's 52%. Remio also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Off's advantage is ratings volume (498 vs 27). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Off sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Remio sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remio holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Off has 498 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Off's written reviews are positive against 100% of Remio's.

Off ships an update fortnightly, Remio every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
