# 地铁通 vs 香港地铁

The clearest difference is ads: 香港地铁 at none against 地铁通's shown. 香港地铁 also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.1). 地铁通's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 50%) and ratings volume (117 vs 19). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

香港地铁 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 地铁通 has 117 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of 地铁通's written reviews are positive against 50% of 香港地铁's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

地铁通 ships an update every 3 months, 香港地铁 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
