# SphereLens vs ProCam

The clearest difference is price: SphereLens at Free against ProCam's $9.99. SphereLens also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and review sentiment (75% vs 64%). ProCam's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (35K vs 2). On ads there is nothing between them.

SphereLens is free to download; ProCam costs $9.99 up front. ProCam sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. SphereLens asks for nothing beyond the download.

ProCam holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProCam has 35K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of SphereLens's written reviews are positive against 64% of ProCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SphereLens ships an update every 3 weeks, ProCam weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
