# hizee vs RealMahjong!

The clearest difference is rating: hizee at 4.8 against RealMahjong!'s 4.3. hizee also leads on ratings volume (158 vs 13) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). RealMahjong!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. hizee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RealMahjong! sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

hizee holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: hizee has 158 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.

hizee ships an update every 10 months, RealMahjong! every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
